Singer Brymo bows to pressure, tenders apology to Igbos over offensive tweet

Famous Nigerian vocalist and entertainer Olawale Ibrahim Ashimi, also called Brymo has offered a statement of regret to the Igbos over a hostile tweet he made against the ethnic gathering.

This is coming hours after a huge number of Nigerians via web-based entertainment marked a request sent off against the vocalist by one Charles Ogundele, to keep him from succeeding at 2023 All Africa Music Grant (AFRIMA).

Brymo had been enduring an onslaught for as of late setting up a progression of disdainful messages on his Twitter handle toward the Igbo clan in Nigeria, going similarly as retweeting a tweet that said that all Igbos are silly.

He further said, “F*ck The Ndi Igbo. Screw It.”

Brymo, be that as it may, on Friday, turned around quickly as he went live on his Instagram page to delicate a general acknowledgment to the clan.

He said, “I didn’t affront the clan, I’m sorry to anybody who it sounded as such to”, adding that he was “attempting to weigh into a vital matter.”
