NYIF Latest News Today May 4th, 2022 | Things to know about Lapo MFB text message’s to beneficiaries
This post is for NYIF beneficiaries who have been contacted by Lapo microfinance bank for their disbursement notice.
Please kindly note that Lapo is just a disbursing party for the funds just like NPF microfinance bank and they are not in charge of selecting and shortlisting applicants for the scheme.
The list of people that are getting or may get text messages from Lapo was already on the NYIF successful candidates list. However, the process was made easy for the disbursing bodies with the addition of Lapo as one of the leading microfinance banks in the country.
As it stands, no official statement from the Ministry of Youths and Sports Development (FMYSD) pertaining to NYIF funds distribution to successful applicants.
Every applicant is advised to be careful and follow the message as directed by the bank to avoid issues that touch the heart.
Most importantly report any person or bank official that requests a token before he/she can assist you with your NYIF funds on how to access the loan.
According to reports and monitored by us here at Digital Information, Lapo MFB is only sending text messages to already shortlisted candidates and assigning the branch they can visit to create their account. This means if you’re a successful applicant, be sure to always check your message for important updates.
You’re not allowed to call any number except the one on the text. Lapo instructs applicants to always try the numbers even if they are not going through as this may be due to a large number of people already calling.
Anything involving money before accessing the funds should be reported to the relevant authority as neither NPF nor Lapo will ever ask for such from beneficiaries.
You can always depend on genuine and authentic updates about NYIF and Npower on this website.
