In reaction to the large emails and text SMS flooding applicants’ inboxes recently, LAPO Micro Finance Bank has categorically denied any partnership with the Nigerian Youth Investment Fund (NYIF).
The management of one of the nation’s largest Micro Finance Banks has issued a fast warning to NYIF applicants about a scheme conducted by fraudsters to swindle applicants. LAPO advises people to stay away from such dangerous and deceptive messages.
“Dear beneficiary, Kindly be informed that you have been selected as a beneficiary of the Nigerian Youth Investment Fund Sponsored by the Ministry of Youth abs and sports development which is working with the development bank of Nigeria and LAPO MFB limited. To Access the fund please call 08026023521, you will need two passport photographs and a valid means of ID This message is from LAPO Mfb limited and is not a scam. Thanks”
